Artists look for inspiration in things that ignite their inner fire and passion and motivate them to create, this is called a creativity outbreak, which literally means "receiving the breath."

It's not hard to understand then, that a lot of artists, mostly anonymous, look inspiration in Layne Staley to create a piece of art. It is touching to make a search on the web, and find out that fans make their own tributes for Layne with their talents, making drawings or paintings with his image.

Bleed for AIC was born because of this inspiration as well. For us, Alice is not just a rock band, it is a legacy that lives in each of us, the Fans, which manage to pay tribute to our idols. Bleed for AIC is our way of doing it, the same way plastic artists, tribute bands or fan pages do it. There´s no need to be a great artist or painter, or singing like them or playing like Cantrell, the really important thing is to pay tribute to our band with love and passion whatever the chosen way to do it is, as they give us their music.
